Merry Meet All, My craft name is Icefire, and I was born in Los Angeles. As a teen, I started studying Wicca and Witchcraft, and was somewhat serious about it. As I got older, I stopped practicing for many years, as bad habits and bad humans started to influence my life more than ever. I moved to Humboldt County, California in 1979 to get away from the city and start a career as a Wildland Firefighter, and fell in love with the mountains of Northern California. In the 80's and 90's I started practicing Wicca off and on once again, this time more seriously, for a few years, but again drifted away due to bad influences in my life. In the year 2002 , I tried to make major life changes that allowed me to practice and study Wicca as a religion and way of life. It worked! I have been practicing as a solitary Witch since then, trying to research which Wiccan Tradition would fit with my current belief system. I found that I don't fit exactly into any Wiccan "niche", but that is the beauty of Wicca. I don't have to !! I can perform my own Spells, Rituals, and such in my own way, and the Goddesses understand just fine. I am still a Wildland firefighter, so it goes without saying that I have to remain mostly in the "Broom Closet", for now at least. I love living and working in the mountains, riding on my Harley, and listening to and playing music. I have been a bass player in a few Metal bands over the years,playing in a few semi-well known bands in the L.A. Metal scene, playing clubs, but now  jam with a few friends, though I still love loud, hard music, as well as mellow, new age type music when I am in Ritual. I started this site as a "one-stop" site to help those seeking this type of information, as most people can't just pick up the pagan yellow pages to look things up. This site constantly added to, and I hope It will be helpful and informative to fellow Wiccans, as well as those just curious of our Traditions.
